Upper GI Endoscopy
It is an endoscopy procedure which uses a long, flexible tube with a camera to observe the inside lining of the esophagus, stomach and the first part of the small intestine (duodenum). A Gastroenterologist performs the procedure. Booking is mandatory.
Patients should have light dinner on the previous night and 6 hrs fasting before the test. Water also is restricted but sip of water is allowed.
