Holter Monitoring
A holter monitoring is a continuous tape recording of a patient’s ECG. Holter monitor is a small, wearable device that can detect irregularities in your heart rhythm.
For male patients chest hair must be shaved up to navel. It is advised to have bath or shower before the procedure starts. All patients must bring their original voter id and previous diagnostic or operative reports & film. Usually, the number of hours that the patient has to wear the device is predetermined by the doctor. Admission is advised for 24 or more hours holter monitoring
